Extended Extraordinary Regulatory Framework published

FDQ

Updated: Jul 27, 2023

In recognition of the continued disruption to teaching, learning and assessment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, our regulators Ofqual, CCEA Regulation and Qualification Wales have published an Extended ERF. Of course, many centres, especially employer sites continue as usual as over summer 2020, but some centres have restricted access to learners and may need to adapt assessments. As previously, the purpose is to ensure assessment methods remain robust, that learners are not disadvantaged and that they receive a valid and reliable outcome for their qualification.

FDQ has prepared this additional guidance for our centres

If you need to make adaptations to assessment practice due to the current COVID-19 restrictions please do make a request at fdq@fdq.org.uk – we will reply promptly with the go ahead or call to discuss further.
