Technical operators work in food manufacturing, often with supervisory responsibility for food production lines. They have an in-depth knowledge of food production, quality systems and health and safety in the food industry. Their knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques will be used for improving productivity. A Technical Operator may progress to more senior technical or management roles.

Advanced Operator

As an advanced operator your job is to work as part of a team to contribute to manufacturing safe and compliant products. In addition they must be able to prepare and run a food and drink manufacturing line.

Technical Operator

Like the advanced operator role, they must maintain smooth running of the manufacturing process. As technical operator it's important that you're able to perform necessary maintenance for end to end process machinery.
