The government is seeking your views on how the new Institute for Apprenticeships intend to improve apprenticeships, so has put their draft plan out for public consultation. It’s a great opportunity to make sure the voice of training providers is heard. See the plan and add your views here
The IFA is also looking for experienced industry professionals to help develop occupational standards for new technical qualifications, as part of England’s new 16+ skills system. The paid roles are part time and open to practising industry professionals or representatives of an industry through a recognised professional body or trade association. The ambition is to develop technical education that prepares individuals for skilled employment and apprenticeships as part of the system that will be run by the new Institute for Apprenticeships.
