On the 5th October between 10.30-2.30 we'll be running a Qualification Delivery Information Day, here at FDQ head office. This is your day, completely focused on providing everything you need to know to successfully deliver this qualification. Apply now!

At FDQ we know that it's a brave new world; with apprenticeship assessment now including methods such as multiple choice tests and workbooks, in addition to the observational assessment you are used to. We also appreciate the extra burden these changes place on your business, and it's not us who have to deliver the training – it's you. That's why we're keen to go the extra mile to support you.

First things first, we listened to you and developed a qualification that at 37 credits is well matched to the ability of a level 2 food industry apprentice. This makes it more deliverable from the outset. Secondly, we've also included an optional unit to ensure it's flexible and relevant to your customers food business. Thirdly, it may be leaner but rest assured it's not lighter on core content. The diploma meets ALL the requirements of the Food and Drink Process Operator Standard.

So now we plan to support you in the practicalities of delivering it.

We'll go through some of the extensive support tools we've developed, including

They say there's no such thing as a free lunch. Well, not only is lunch on us but the whole event is FREE to all those who apply for qualification approval by 1st October. The normal cost of the day for non-applicants is £75. Spaces are limited so book soon by emailing us at fdq@fdq.org.uk to reserve your place. Delegates will receive confirmation by email. We really hope you can join us on the 5th and look forward to helping you get a head start on delivering another first-class qualification.
