Your opinion matters to us. So since you told us that you needed a deliverable replacement for the SASE framework, we've been working around the clock to find a solution.
And we think we've done just that.
Introducing the FDQ Level 2 Diploma in Food and Drink Operations
This is a 37 credit diploma, which is better aligned to the needs and abilities of a Level 2 Apprentice. Rest assured though it still meets all the requirements of the Standard and contains mandatory knowledge and competency units, such as:
FDQ understand that qualifications need to work in real life situations, so we've been careful not to overload it with potentially inappropriate mandatory units.
Apprentices and their employers will have a wide list of optional units to choose from though, giving them the flexibility to tailor learning to the needs of the workplace.
Unless it works for you, it won't work for us. So for the first time ever, we are inviting your feedback on the qualification before we officially launch it. We'll be presenting the full proposed content and structure during a special workshop at our Annual Conference on 10 May. This is your opportunity to have your say and for us to make any final refinements before launch on 1st June 2017.
Lastly I'd like to thank all the centres and employers who have already given us their valued input. At FDQ we firmly believe that only by working together do we get the best results for everybody.
Looking forward to seeing you on the 10 May. If you haven't already registered, please do so here.
