FDQ Important Notice – Certification

Certification update

In light of the recent government measures we will only provide certificates when specifically requested by yourselves. The certificates will be provided in pdf version via FDQAwards. These arrangements will be in place for the coming three weeks (26th March, 2nd April, 9th April 2020). Please email fdq@fdq.org.uk to make a request.

All hard copies of certificates will of course be kept for safekeeping by FDQ and posted out as soon as it is possible to do so. We will resume usual certification runs when able.

FDQ is committed to supporting you, our FDQ Approved Centres in these difficult times. Certificate print runs will continue as usual on Thursdays. However, given that some businesses are working with reduced staffing or indeed are closed, we will not routinely post certificates. We will keep the certificates safe until we can safely post out to you. Pdf versions of the certificates will be available by 5.00pm of each Thursday. If you know the certificates can be signed for and would like the certificate hard copies posted please e-mail fdq@fdq.org.uk and we will action this request – we will let you know if over time this becomes not possible.

 

We are committed to supporting our centres in these difficult times, not least because a fully functioning food industry is important to all. Please do contact fdq@fdq.org.uk if you have any queries with the above. We are all at our laptops, if scattered slightly around Yorkshire and will be keeping in touch.
